WebCentric, EBC, Wilwood and Brembo are well respected brands. I personally have EBC pads and rotors on 2 of my cars and plan for all of them to run EBC Yellowstuff pads and EBC rotors. EBC is pricey but I am happy with them and found you have to shop around for the best price. Ceramic simply use ceramic instead of metal as the secret sauce to help things out. Everything is a compromise. Organic pads tend to be quiet, have good initial bite at all temperatures, but can be dusty and cannot handle extreme temps as well.
