WebJan 22, 2024 · I took an antibiotic called Cipro for a “suspected” kidney infection/UTI in November of 2016 and have been suffering from fluoroquinolone toxicity for over a year. I was only 30 years old. I say “suspected” because my urinalyis came back negative, as did my urine culture. WebCipro has ruined my life... I took 10 days worth of ciprofloxacin and metronidazole like 10 months ago. Of course, the acute phase was hell, but I had the hope of getting better in front of me, and sure enough, I recovered and felt pretty well for a few months, with some tiny flares here and there, and a few lingering symptoms that never went away.
