The preexponential and activation energy
WebbThe activation energy is the amount of energy required to have the reaction occur. If you have more kinetic energy, that wouldn't affect activation energy. They are independent. Imagine climbing up a slide. If you climb up the slide faster, that does not make the slide get shorter. Hope this helped. :D 3 comments ( 4 votes) JacobELloyd 8 years ago Webb18 okt. 2024 · The preexponential and activation energy values for the diffusion of A in B are 2.4 × 10-4 m2/s and 154 kJ/mol, respectively. See answer Advertisement valetta Answer: 1.25 mm Explanation: Given: Temperature = 1050°C = 1050 + 273 = 1323 K concentration of A = 4.0 wt% preexponential value for the diffusion, D₀ = 2.4 × 10⁻⁴ m²/s
